
2007-2008 Goals

Membership
- Membership committee (WAYNE and RUTHIE) will continue to implement the membership recruitment plan to bring the club from 14 to 16 members by June 2008.
- We will also continue to assign mentors to new members.
- Attain 80 percent monthly attendance or higher during the Rotary year.
Service Projects
- We will work with District 7890 and various Rotary clubs on an international water project. WAYNE and EMMALEE will coordinate this.
- We will also participate in Interact and RYLA, and look into ways to respond to the needs of youth. CONRAD will coordinate.
- The eClub will participate in bell-ringing for the Salvation Army. CONRAD to coordinate.
- Adopt-A-Family (formerly Clothing, Toy and Food Drive): EMMALEE will coordinate this project, wherein all members will be encouraged to contribute various items to one family.
- GSE Day/Dinner and/or sponsor a GSE team member: CONRAD will coordinate sponsoring a GSE team member to Sweden in 2008 or hosting a visiting team for an afternoon and/or evening.
- Earth Day Cleanup: for Earth Day in April 2008, all members will be encouraged to clean up a corner of their globe in April.
- Literacy: SUSAN will coordinate a literacy project for this year.
- Individual: Rotarians are required to do ten hours of community service (outside of club projects) each quarter. eClubbers will post their experiences online.
Rotary Foundation (Chair: EMMALEE)
- Implement Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) with the goal of meeting or exceeding $100 per capita ($1300 total).
- We support TRF by supporting the GSE program, educating eClubbers on TRF, and exploring Rotary Grants.
Golden Tool Award (Chairs: EMMALEE and RUTHIE)
- Explore increasing the award from $400 to $500 (or more) award this year.
- Follow up with past recipients.
Leadership
- We will create a slate of officers by December 31, 2007.
- Our club will identify two members as potential future leaders and encourage them to attend leadership seminars.
- Develop leadership through chairs and training. Every eClubber is encouraged to be a chair or committee member.
- We will encourage members to attend the district assembly, assume positions of leadership through committee chairs, and visit other Rotary clubs to exchange ideas and gain knowledge.
- Meet at least twice this year with the AG to discuss eClub issues.
- Update the long-range plan for the eClub in spring of 2008.
- The eClub will earn a Presidential Citation for 2007-2008.
Increase publicity of the eClub and Rotary (Chair: SUSAN)
- All of us will publicize the eClub by attending and speaking at two traditional club meetings per year.
- Send eClub photos and articles every month to district newsletter and website, as well as to other forms of media, such as newspapers and television stations.
