We are an "eClub" created as a part of the Rotary E-Club Pilot Project. Our main goal to extend Rotary throughout Rotary District 7890 via use of the Web for those who cannot attend weekly Rotary meetings in person.
Officers for 2007-2008 are:
Conrad Sienkiewicz, President
Ruthie Napoleone, Treasurer
Betsey Hallihan, Secretary
The Vice President position is vacant at this time.
We were chartered by Rotary International on May 27, 2004, and are Club #65577. We held our Charter Night on Saturday, October 30, 2004.
Our purpose is to extend Rotary to business, professional and community leaders in Rotary District 7890 and around the world who are unable to meet traditional attendance requirements because extensive travel, conflicting occupational demands, physical immobility, or residence beyond reasonable distance from an existing Rotary District 7890 club. In addition, we strive at all times to uphold the Object of Rotary, and well as apply The 4-Way Test to all club endeavors:
We set annual goals aligned with the Four Avenues of Rotary Service: Club, Vocational, Community and International. To see more about these goals, visit our discussion group.
Like a traditional Rotary Club we are governed by our Constitution and Bylaws, developed in a similar fashion to all Rotary Clubs.
We conduct regular online meetings, activities and discussions using a Web-based discussion group, and hold optional monthly social meetings at locations around the district. Any Rotarian from around the world can make-up at our Web site by submitting a make-up request.
Once a month, we gather purely for social interaction and fun. These gatherings are optional, attendance is not a membership requirement of the eClub, and no business is conducted. Check our discussion group for up-to-date information.
For specific information about eClub membership requirements, please visit our membership page.
Our members could be from anywhere in the world and we participate in international service and fellowship activities. However, we strive to emphasize activities and fellowship within Rotary District 7890.
